'Pro-Series 'Straight' Gun Belts'
Our 'Pro-Series' Straight gun belts are made by bonding two 8-9 oz Hermann Oak Leather strips together to give you a professional 1/4" thick gun belt that will not "roll-over" when carrying concealed weapons. We can also make it in a 3/16" thickness if you have concerns about it fitting through your belt loops. For the width of the belt, you may choose from 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" belt widths. Larger widths are available (See our Police Duty Belt selections). The tooling pattern may be selected from any of our 23 different designs. The front Billet/Buckle area of the gun belts are shaved down in thickness to reduce the bulk of a 1/4" thick gun belt (both Straight Gun Belts and the Tapered Gun Belts) so that it gives the appearance of a standard dress belt and does not shout 'I have a gun'. You may also order the belt with a tapered front which looks great with slacks and sport coat. Choose your buckle from the selection shown below. We use Chicago Screws to fasten our Buckles and belt loops in place on all of our belts for your convenience in changing out your buckle should you so desire. COLORS: Rustic Tan and Rustic Golden Honey Brown is a special dyeing process where the edges are dyed darker and gradually blended into a lighter shade in the center of the belt which produces a great looking gun belt. There is an additional cost of $6.00 for this process on these two colors because of the additional time involved in the dyeing process.
HORSEHIDE: In addition to the selection of the Pro-Series 2 ply belts made with premium saddle skirting leather, we also offer the same high quality belts in Horsehide. Our Horsehide belts are made to the same exacting standards as our Pro-Series Skirting leather belts. An outer layer of Horsehide is bonded to an 8 oz layer of saddle skirting then stitched with heavy-duty Nylon thread. Horsehide is a much denser leather than saddle skirting which makes it much more resistant to abrasion and moisture. Because of the high density of the Horse hide, this is one of the stiffest gun belts that can be made. Also, due to the high density, these belts can not be tooled with designs. They are only offered as 'plain-non-tooled' belts. The color and buckle selection is the same for the horsehide belts as it is for the saddle skirting leather belts. Because of the extreme durability and quality of Horsehide belts and holster systems, many Law Enforcement Agencies consider them to be the top of the line in equipment selection. SHARKSKIN: For the ultimate look in appearance, style and toughness, you may want to consider a Sharkskin Gun Belt. These are beautiful belts that are just as tough as our Pro-Series belts. It is said that Sharkskin is about 25 times as tough as cowhide saddle skirting leathers. Sharkskin only comes in about 49" lengths. What this means is that for any belt with over a 42" waist size, the Sharkskin must be 'spliced' together. With our manufacturing process, this will in no way affects the strength of the belt. The majority of all Alligator, Crocodile, Stingray and other exotic leathers are joined in the same manner. Sharkskin is only available in Black. Internal stiffeners can be added as an option if so desired on the strong side of the belt, but for standard concealed carry, this option is not really necessary. For the ultimate in fine leather Gun Belts and Holster systems, this one is hard to beat. Sharkskin belts are available in 1", 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" widths. OFF DUTY / CONCEALED CARRY: This is our Pro-Series Concealment Gun belt line made
with 8-9 oz Herman Oak Skirting leather for the top tooling side and
the same 8-9 oz leather for the back liner. You may choose between 3/16"

The belt is often the most overlooked piece of equipment, but it is the foundation of any 'waist carry' system ( and it should be thought of as that; a complete system of firearm, holster, mag pouch, belt and wardrobe). Any structure requires a strong foundation to be stable, likewise, the best holster is useless if worn on an inadequate belt. Another consideration is the belt slots or loops of the holster should 'match the width of the belt'. Do not expect optimal performance from your holster if you are mating a 1 3/4 inch slotted holster to a 1 1/4 inch wide belt. You might want to consider a 'matching' system of belt, holster, Mag carrier, and bikini handcuff case.

NOTE: WAIST
MEASUREMENT
Please measure your waist over your pants but 'without' a belt on to get your
true waist measurement. Do Not go by the pants sizes that you wear. They
are not the same. This measurement will be used to build the belt so that
you will buckle the belt using the center hole. Then you can gain or lose
weight and the belt will still fit.
Each belt is 'custom-made' when the order is received. Please allow
3-4 weeks for your belt to be hand-made. Belts with the Acorn-Oak
Leaf or Sheridan design - allow 6-8 weeks.
Bullet Loops: You may add 6, 10, or 12 bullet loops to the back of your custom
belt if you desire. A 1 1/2" belt will accept up to 45 cal. bullets. Larger
calibers ( 45 Long Colt and 44 Mag) require at least a 1 3/4" wide belt size.
