Durango Western Ranger Belts and our Texas Ranger Belts are 'Custom' made (in the USA). Each one is handcrafted the 'old fashion way' (one at a time) to last a lifetime. Wear one of our Ranger Belts out and we will replace it free! All belts are made with Premium quality Hermann Oak Saddle leather with a Burgundy Latigo lining. These are heavy-duty belts constructed to carry the added weight of a weapon but they also look great for everyday use. They come standard with Solid Brass buckles. Sterling Silver buckles may be purchased separately.
We have just added a new design to the list of available belt pattern choices. The 'Sheridan Style' carving comes from the old saddle carvers in the Sheridan Wy area. It is a very popular design that really brings out the depth of the carving. This is accomplished in part by the finishing technique. Also looks great with you name or initials added.

OFF DUTY / CONCEALED CARRY: The belts shown above are made with 6-7 oz Hermann Oak Skirting leather with a back liner of 4-5 oz Latigo. They are strong enough for Police Off Duty / Concealed Carry application while at the same time making an excellent crafted belt for everyday ware. However, some people may desire a heaver belt for Police Off Duty / Concealed Carry applications. We also offer the above belts made with 7-8 oz Herman Oak Skirting leather for the top tooling side and the same 7-8 oz leather for the back liner. This give a belt approximately 1/4" thick that will support any weapon on the market today. If you desire the heavier style belt, check out 'Gun Belts' or just give us a call. All of our products are custom made in the USA (Texas) when they are ordered. You have total control in the design process for your belt from start to finish.
The belt is often the most overlooked piece of equipment, but it is the foundation of any 'waist carry' system ( and it should be thought of as that; a complete system of firearm, holster, mag pouch, belt and wardrobe). Any structure requires a strong foundation to be stable, likewise, the best holster is useless if worn on an inadequate belt. Another consideration is the belt slots or loops of the holster should 'match the width of the belt'. Do not expect optimal performance from your holster if you are mating a 1 3/4 inch slotted holster to a 1 1/4 inch wide belt. Perhaps you might consider a matching system of belt, holster, Mag carriers, and handcuff case.

NOTE: WAIST MEASUREMENT
Please measure your waist over your pants but 'without' a belt on to get your true waist measurement. Do Not go by the pants sizes that you wear. They are not the same. This measurement will be used to build the belt so that you will buckle the belt using the center hole. Then you can gain or lose weight and the belt will still fit.
Each belt is 'custom-made' when the order is received. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your belt to be hand-made. Belts with the Acorn-Oak Leaf or Sheridan design - allow 5-6 weeks.
